A lot of bloggers are setting up photo blogs. This seems to be the current trend. I like to dabble in photography, but sometimes it’s hard to lug the big camera around. I want to take a lot of photos but i don’t carry the tripod and different lenses all the time. I visited a site called double-whammy dot com. It is a beautifully design photo site. I was inspired by the design of the website. It was so simple yet so cool. I think i will start my own portfolio site and try to model it after this site.

I like my job, but i don’t want to spend the rest of my life working for somebody. I want to have more creative freedom and i want to make a little more money. The only way that i can see this happening is if i open up my own business. Business doesn’t have to be a brick and mortar establishment. The internet allows people to work from the comfort of their own home. Consultants and design professionals do a lot of freelance work. I’ve worked on a few and really liked how it turned out.

Whether you interest lies with maps or product design, you could think about starting your own design company. As long as you can create something that people want, you can run a successful business. This post started as a post about map design, but it quickly turned into an inspirational post.

I was talking to a friend of mine who is having trouble with drug addiction. She is addicted to prescription sleeping pills. I shouldn’t go as far as saying that she is a drug addict, but it’s still a drug addiction. My friend is a very good person. She is a hard worker and a most caring individual. If anything, you can always do a google search for tutorials. Just search with “blank tutorials” and i’m sure that you will find something on the first page. You can also try the source of the program you are trying to learn. Check out their website. They should have a lot of tutorials on their site that can guide you through the learning process.

It’s weird to admit this, but i love to play games. I like to consider myself as a hot designer, but i really am a geek. I play video games with my nerd friends and i also enjoy casino type games. It’s sad that you only realize this as you get old. Life ends in a flash. Might as well use that time to do things that you enjoy. Be productive during the weekend. Be creative. Sketch, paid, doodle whatever is on your mind.

Right now, i’m working on a new furniture design. My friend has a lot of tools in his garage so i go over to his place sometimes to work on my designs. Designer furniture is very expensive. Most of it is way overpriced. Because i’m very picky, i like my furniture to be really unique. I like this the way i like it. That’s why i started to make my own furniture. When you’re feeling uninspired, it’s up to you to get inspired. Think like a child and always be dreaming. You’ll be surprised at how much work can be done in a single weekend.

I am thinking about starting up my own design business. I want to be able to control all aspects of my design. I don’t want to worry about my boss looking over my shoulders. I want to do the projects that i feel comfortable with. I want to be inspired. I don’t want to be just another worker bee. I want to take pride in my design and want the potential to make the big bucks. The only way to go about this is to set up my own design studio. Working for a design firm is cool, but when the time comes, all designers should start their own business. In my opinion, the money that designers makes are nothing compared to the bids that are won by the company. I’ve seen million dollars checks signed by certain clients. I don’t want to make 27 dollars an hour, when i could be making 10 percent of a million dollars per design.
