when i saw santiago Calatrava’s chicago spire building, i was surprised. i had a similar designed building already in my portfolio. my friend joked with me that he stole my idea. but i am glad that i had similar idea with such a great architect and his building. i just want to put my pictures up to prove that i had the idea. ^^

i made a wood model in 2001.

The Chicago Spire building is designed by Santiago Calatrava.
it will be 150 floors building, this skyscraper will be taller than Chicago’s Sears Tower and New York’s upcoming Freedom Tower, as well as Toronto’s CN Tower, to become North America’s tallest free-standing structure and the world’s tallest all-residential building.
The spire is under construction in Chicago, Illinois and scheduled to be completed in 2011 with 150 floors

This summer i lost my father
I guess everybody has to go through that at least once in their lifetime,
but i really didn’t know it was coming to me

My greatest regret was i didn’t say i love u enough

He was born on May 25,1938
He died on July 23, 2007 7:40 pm
He left behind a beutiful wife, a son, and 6 daughters.

He was a businessman
His company makes PVC hose , pipes
He spent his whole life making PVC, but i never interested in pvc
In memory of my dad i want to use pvc to make my project

He was born July 28, 1951. Spanish Architect & Structural engineer whose principal office is in Zurich, Switzerland.

Calatrava is also a prolific and, claiming that the practice of architecture combines all the arts into one. In 2005, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, held an exhibition of his artistic work, entitled “Santiago Calatrava: Sculpture Into Architecture.

When i was a little girl, i always wanted to be designer. I dreamed of building my own house. I still have the sketches of the dream house i designed when i was 7 years old.
