My Spire building
November 25th, 2007 by cha.design
when i saw santiago Calatrava’s chicago spire building, i was surprised. i had a similar designed building already in my portfolio. my friend joked with me that he stole my idea. but i am glad that i had similar idea with such a great architect and his building. i just want to put my pictures up to prove that i had the idea. ^^
i made a wood model in 2001.

The Chicago Spire building is designed by Santiago Calatrava.
it will be 150 floors building, this skyscraper will be taller than Chicago’s Sears Tower and New York’s upcoming Freedom Tower, as well as Toronto’s CN Tower, to become North America’s tallest free-standing structure and the world’s tallest all-residential building.
The spire is under construction in Chicago, Illinois and scheduled to be completed in 2011 with 150 floors

I get that problem all the time, suddenly see someone else has come up with the same idea I had long ago- you are right though, it’s encouraging, it means you’re walking in the same world as the greats.

No podría ser arquitecto, sin duda: ante una situación así, creo que no me pondría muy feliz. ¡Todo lo contrario!
Debería tener la Arquitectura un registro de propiedad intelectual para los diseños innovadores, ¿no creen?
