One of the most famous architects of all time is Frank Lloyd Wright. Even people who are not familiar with architecture know this name. Frank Lloyd Wright is one of the designers that changed the way architecture was viewed as a profession. With Wright, the lines and curves of structures were transformed into an art form. Frank was a pioneer to his profession and one of the reasons why i decided to take my chances with design.
I grew up sketching things i saw. When i was a young girl, i would take a pencil and walk out to the local playground. I would draw the things around me. I would trace lines and form shapes that represented my natural surrounding. I was designing. Specifically, i was making the initial sketches for my architectural works of art.
In high school, i first heard the name Frank Lloyd Wright. I didn’t think twice of his building until college. In college, i studied his work in detail. Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater was a modern day masterpiece. The structure is a perfect example of the harmony between man made objects and nature. This building uses it’s natural surrounding to blend in a habitat.
