I am thinking about starting up my own design business. I want to be able to control all aspects of my design. I don’t want to worry about my boss looking over my shoulders. I want to do the projects that i feel comfortable with. I want to be inspired. I don’t want to be just another worker bee. I want to take pride in my design and want the potential to make the big bucks. The only way to go about this is to set up my own design studio. Working for a design firm is cool, but when the time comes, all designers should start their own business. In my opinion, the money that designers makes are nothing compared to the bids that are won by the company. I’ve seen million dollars checks signed by certain clients. I don’t want to make 27 dollars an hour, when i could be making 10 percent of a million dollars per design. Right now, i don’t have a lot of money saved up, so i will have to look into finding a loan. I found a site called Am One. They are a site that helps with unsecured loans. From the info contained on their website, it doesn’t see that hard to get a small business loan. The interest might be a bit high, but that’s because it’s unsecured.
