As i stated in one of my previous posts, i will dig a bit deeper into wordpress theme design. I first fell in love with this blogging platform because it was really simple to use. I later discovered that it was complex and robust. You have a lot of different options when it comes to wordpress design. You can also use this blogging platform to create a lot of different types of web site. You do not just have to set up a blog with wordpress. If you change up the theme enough, it can serve as a nice non blogging web site. The trick is to design it differently from regular blogging sites. You have to design the front page to look and feel different. You can also use a lot of the plugins to create complex functions for your web site. I have an affiliate web site that i built using wordpress. It has search capabilities and a really good member page. I was able to change up the code to make it look like a membership site. I might reveal this web site in one of my future posts. The post i am trying to make is that wordpress doesn’t have to be just about blogging. This platform is small enough to stay simple. But, it is complex enough to get really creative in your design.

Louis Vuitton is one of the most luxurious brands in the world. It is recognized all over the world. It is also a brand that has remained unchanged. If you look at the most popular logo from this mega brand, you will notice that it hasn’t changed. This is the most copied hand bag in all the world. I bought a wallet at this store for about $350 dollars. The wallet carries the same type of leather and logo. I bought it cause it looked really cool. This wallet can stay with me for years and year. I know that the shape and design of this wallet will remain intact. If i bought a wallet from a more trendy shop, i know that it will become worthless after a few years. But with Louis Vuiton, i know that this design will remain cool.
I guess that this explains a lot about the design of Louis Vuitton. The designs that they feature at this store remain in tact. Even tho they push out some trendy lines. They are able to balance out the trends with age old classics.

The computer mouse is celebrating its 40 years birthday. I can’t believe that it has already been this long. I remember when i was a little kid. I wanted a computer so bad. Back then, they didn’t have a lot of options. Most of the machines looked really ugly and boxy. I guess that was the culture back then. Now, everything is design oriented. You can find a lot of different looking computers. We have seen a lot of changes with the components of the computer. But the mouse has not changed all that much. I guess the original design really worked. I guess the functional aspect of the mouse changed the way we interact with machines. If it works, we have to stick with it. We can only change little things. I remember that a few companies were trying to push the ball mouse. These plastic balls were hard to use. Control wasn’t as good and eventually it died out. I wonder if they will try to push another type of mouse to us. If they do, i hope they design it really well.

There are people who do not like to question the status quo. These people like to follow the norm. If there is a product that they like, they will buy it and use it just as they are told. They do not question anything. They are not curious about the details. As a designer, i am not like these people. I like to question everything. I like to look for alternative uses for everyday items. I really believe that you have to be like this to make it in this tough world. To be original, you need to think of new ways of using things. At my company, we are currently working on a project for this green customer. The client wants to find new and green uses for his new company. He wants us to create an environment that is really unique. He told us about the things that he likes. So, we took that profile and created a list of materials that people usually do not use for interior design. I like using a lot of metal for the interior of houses. I wanted to incorporate that into this new project. I was looking at some old window frames and i figured that i would install them as a fixture on the walls. I think that this will create a really nice vibe for the company.

I think that every artist struggles with their own creative voice. We receive all of this training and education and it sometimes can be hard to figure out what our true artistic vision is. Education is an important part of growth, but it isn’t the most important thing for an artist. As an artist, you have to learn to be your own person. You can not try to copy an artistic movement or trend. You can not try to figure out a formula and try to emulate it. We have to be unique and special. We have to think outside the box.
In this day and age, being unique is something that is hard to do. There are so many artists out there who try to be be unique for the sake of being unique. That type of pseudo art is not really art either. Your goals should be pure and creative. You should not try to fit your art or your vision into a box. Be selective with the critique that you receive, and be firm on your own unique beliefs. If you do that, you should already have more then enough training. Try not to learn everything there is about art. Be your own artist.

There is a series of books that are catered to designers all across the world. The next time you are at a book store, you should flip through the icons books. The star marked books have a lot of pictures regarding some of the best designs in the world. The books are all different. I have the interior design and architecture books. I also recently bought the web design books. I found the sites that are featured on that book to all be fascinating. I also started thinking about networking with authors. If you can get you web site or work to be included in a book, image how much good press will come out of that. Your web site will get a lot of new hits from people who respect and admire your work. If you designed an interior, you will get to meet other designers and networking will be like a gold mine. Try to work your way up on the latter of public relations. Try to market yourself and your work to other people. Self marketing is the name of the game. This does not mean that you just have to set up a web site. It means that you need to present your work to other people or places that will help you become more famous.

There are products out in the market right now that people are not actually ready for. I really believe that design is a form of art. I think that the whole commercial and practical aspect of it makes people think differently about design. But, design is art. So, in the art world, there are times when people really try to push the envelope. Like in art, there are things that people are not ready for. There are moments when people try to hold back art. I think that we should all be a bit more open to art. We should think about what art really means. I think that the art world gets a lot of dirt hit on them because they are so elitist. They are way too snobby. What is a regular guy supposed to think when the art world tells them that they are stupid. When an art critic says that this piece of trash clutter is art, how are we supposed to take that in. I think that it is a balance of regular folks not understanding and the whole snob mentality of the art world. Both classes are stubborn and ignorant. Art snobs are stupid for thinking that they are way too smart. Regular folks are ignorant of new art movements because we do not want to buy into the whole art scam.

In my designs, i like to do things that are very minimalistic. I think that there is beauty in simple lines and curves. I think that a lot of people view simple colors and bold lines to be something that is timeless. If you want to set up your own blog, you really should consider a design that is simple and minimalistic. This type of blog design will bring out the content of your blog. The whole point is to make people read what you wrote. If you have distracting images or background colors, that point might get missed. You should seek out wordpress themes that are simple yet modern looking. Wordpress is the blogging platform that i like to use. It is simple and really powerful. The best part is that you can find themes and plugins for free that make your blogging experience unique and professional looking. Visit their blog and forums for more info about customizing. Check out the blog designs that are popular and you will see what i am talking about.

One thing that you have to understand about the web is that it is changing at lightening speed. If you saw something a few months ago, it might not still be there today. I think that this constant shift makes things pretty hectic and fast. It is exciting and stressful for most people. To stay up to date on all of the latest trends in design is also something that is fast. Trends tend to go out of style really fast. That is why you should really consider designs and material that is know to be ageless. If you look at fine european decor, you will notice a few things in common. First of all, you will notice that these buildings and interiors have a timeless feel to it. Try to think about that the next time you want to do a redesign on your home. This will end up saving you a lot of money and time. You will not need to redo every room in your house right before you want to sell it. If you did it the right way the first time around, you can just put the house up for sale. Think about that the next time you are thinking about a redesign.
